In response to current events, we are extending our grant application deadline for the 2020 Spring Cycle to May 1st. We also have lifted our spending restrictions to enable you to take care of the people in your organization and communities you serve. Please take the time to evaluate your needs and consider applying.
Open letter to our Grant Partners / Nonprofit Organizations,
We don’t yet know the full ramifications of this global pandemic. But we at the foundation do know this: we trust you and want to help.
In times of crisis, we understand you have critical needs in other areas. We want you to have the flexibility and our trust to run your organization in this difficult and uncertain time. So, we will be lifting grant restrictions on the current funding to your organization and loosening the restrictions for the next grant cycle.
By providing flexibility on how you can use the funding, we hope it will allow you to take care of the people in your organization and the communities you serve. Fund essential programming and administrative costs – people are critically important.
In addition, the next grant application deadline will be extended to May 1. We will continue to be open to the organizations we normally would fund AND encourage you to apply for organization support or general use with unrestricted funding.
We at the foundation are deeply concerned about you and our community during this difficult and chaotic time. Know we are supporting you.
Reach out if there are other ways we can help.
– The board and staff of the Multnomah Athletic Foundation
